  4.                      CD-Runner 6.0 DeLuxe Requirements
  5.  
  6. CD-Runner 6.0 is compatible with Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0. 
  7.  
  8. We recommend the following as a nominal environment for using CD-Runner:
  9.  
  10. (Note: It is highly recommended that CD-Runner be installed on MMII-class
  11. [multimedia 2] PCs. This will render both the highest performance of
  12. CD-Runner, as well as current CD-ROM application discs.
  13.  
  14.    * Pentium class 60 MHz or better IBM-compatible computer. CD-Runner 
  15.      may also be run on 486 processors, provided that they are DX-2 and 
  16.      100 mHz or better.
  17.    * Windows Version 95 or later, or Windows NT 4.0 or later.
  18.    * Mouse.
  19.    * 8 MB RAM or greater.  16 MB or better is recommended for optimal 
  20.      multimedia performance.
  21.    * One hard disk drive, one MCI-compatible IDE or SCSI CD-ROM drive.
  22.    * Sound card. Sound-Blaster compatible is recommended.
  23.    * Approximately 5 MB available hard disk space.
  24.    * Windows 95 MCI CD player compatible driver and driver for CD Audio. 
  25.      These are automatically installed during Window 95 Setup, but may not
  26.      be resident if you have overinstalled Windows 95 as an upgrade to 
  27.      Windows 3.x.  This is rare, and if you are able to run audios via the
  28.      Microsoft CD Player, most unlikely.
  29.    * It is HIGHLY recommended that you NOT have mscdex.com loaded in your 
  30.      autoexec.bat, but rather let Windows 95 set up your CD-ROM drive(s).
  31.      (Mscdex.com is a DOS driver that can seriously slow down Windows 95 
  32.      CD-ROM performance.)
  33.    * Highly Recommended: Modem w/Internet hookup.
